My sweet little greenhouse!

I know that I am one lucky and blessed woman.  Not only am I happily married to the love of my life, I am married to quite the handyman.  He built our home that we now live in and is quite willing to remodel, construct and help me with any project that I come up with.  Sitting here reflecting, I have to say, I have come up with NUMEROUS projects through the 44 years that we have been married. Hmm, thinking about that, I wonder, is he feeling as lucky and as blessed as I do???  Anyway this blog is not about us but about the sweet little  green house that he built for me.  It reminds me so much of the little playhouse that my father built me when I was a young girl and working in it brings back so many wonderful memories.  The greenhouse was built out of used windows that we had been buying and collecting through the years and the floor is made with granite sink cutouts from a local granite fabricator. The bottom of the cabinet was constructed from pallets.  The decorative items and furniture come from my collection of thrift store finds.  I know many happy hours will be spent in my little greenhouse,  hours that I will spend reflecting on what a lucky girl I am!  XOXOXO to my wonderful hubby!

  1. This is my kind of style – love it. The green house looks so cozy and I can see why you will spend much time there. And what a great job your own handy-man have made. One day I would like a to have a green house like this. My own oasis.
