    Directions: Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and pecans. Press in bottom of 13×9 baking dish. Bake 350 degrees until brown.  Let cool. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip until blended with mixer then spread onto the crust.     Directions: Beat eggs slightly mix corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt. Add nuts and pour in unbaked pie shell Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Note: Pie is slightly less set in the center. You can add 1 tbsp. cornstarch to corn syrup before adding to egg mixture. Source: Eleizabeth Gates (1980)
