Not Too Shabby

Those of you that know  me,  know that I am passionate about many things.  Actually, too many things.  I love to cook.  I love to garden.  I love to create crafts. I love to decorate my home and love to entertain.   I always have some type of project going and all the while working on the current one, my mind is thinking and planning on the the next.  I drive my husband crazy….Actually, I drive myself crazy.

My son gave me this website for Christmas a few years back and I have enjoyed every minute of working, creating and sharing my recipes with you.  But, in the meantime, My husband and I have started a craft business we call “Not Too Shabby”.  We love taking vintage and used items and creating new functional pieces. We also build and create new farmhouse and shabby chic decor for your home.

It all  started out with us  opening a small booth in a local shop.  It has grown to two booths and now traveling to craft shows throughout the year. Our dream,  to get the business working for us before I retire.  Can I tell you that It has consumed ALL of my spare time? My hobbies other than crafting have suffered. Meals around this household are not what they use to be, My garden, well just let me say, if you really believe weeds are beautiful flowers, then I have a VERY beautiful garden.  You get the picture, don’t you?

Now let me get back to the point of this post.  I wanted to let you know rouxed.com will now incorporate our other interest and business “Not Too Shabby”.  You will see post in the future showing our projects and products.  Products that you can purchase or special order.  Post that will  keep you up to date on our adventure and post with new recipe’s…..if I ever get back to cooking.

So friends and followers, stay tuned, leave your comments, suggestions and if you would like to share your favorite recipe’s with me,  just send me a private message. Did I mention we would be forever grateful if you would like, share and follow this website?

I think it’s going to be a busy, exciting year for this family.  Hope I can keep up!
