INSTANT POT BOILED SHRIMP

Do you own a Instant Pot? I received mine this past Christmas and I have hardly cooked on the stove since. Need I say, I am In Love!!!!

This recipe was found on P interest Damn Delicious but I modified it somewhat. I will say, the next time I prepare this, I will try Shrimp Boil in lieu of the Old Bay Seasoning. You know how spicy we love our food down here in the South and this just wasn’t quite spicy enough for us but it was still REALLY delicious.

Instructions:

  1. Place potato’s, sausage, onion into the instant pot.
  2. Sprinkle 3 teaspoon of the Old Bay Seasoning and the hot sauce over the above ingredients.
  3. Stir Well; top with the corn on the cob
  4. Pour beer over the top.
  5. Select Manuel Setting on the Instant Pot. Adjust Pressure to high; Set time to 5 minutes
  6. When finished cooking, quick release pressure according to manufacturer’s directions.
  7. Add shrimp; sprinkle with remaining Old Bay Seasoning (1 teaspoon)
  8. Select Manuel Setting; adjust pressure to High: set time for 1 minute
  9. when finished cooking, quick release pressure according to manufacturer’s directions.
  10. Add roasted Garlic to melted butter; drizzle over top; garnish with lemon wedges.
  11. Enjoy!
